I have always had this rich love for wild places and adventure. From learning to camp under the stars in the Arizona desert while I was growing up, to now hitting 4x4 roads to less traveled corners. I’m a total free spirit so being outdoors is where I’m happiest.
Being able to blend my passion for photography and adventure and share it with my amazing couples is truly inspiring for me. Guiding couples throughout the wilderness and capturing their wonder and connection is something I will never get over. I love it when couples share their wedding experience in a location that embodies the dream and vision they have for themselves and their story together.
My latest adventure took me to the backcountry of the Sierra Nevada Mountains!
I had the most incredible opportunity to backpack all 211+ miles of the John Muir Trail! This pristine wilderness includes much of Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, and Sequoia National Park!
What makes me different?
I strive to cultivate an environment of trust and connection with my couples.
My images are centered around showcasing the love you have, while emphasizing the connection you share. I’m less interested in capturing a stiff, posed version of a moment as I am in capturing how that moment actually felt.
The locations my couples choose are an integral aspect of their story. I aim to instill a never-ending sense of exploration that inspires them (and me). Since the natural landscape is such an innate part of their day, my work is closely intertwined with capturing my couples within this landscape while highlighting the natural features that makes the landscape unique.
My best work comes when my couples fully trust me to capture their story while they are completely immersed in the moments of their day. Once the focus of the day has shifted from an extrinsic perspective to an intrinsic perspective, that’s when the magic happens.
